The record-breaking Dubai Airshow will return in 2015 from the 8-12 November, at its purpose built venue, Dubai World Central. The key international aerospace event, which will be in its 28th year, will again offer unparalleled access to local, regional and global participants, living up to its reputation as the centre of the aerospace industry.
Manufacturers and suppliers recognise the importance of the Middle East market to their own long term business growth "As domestic markets are shrinking due to budget cuts, the large manufacturers are working hard to improve their export sales into regions such as the Middle East" stated Charles Forrester, IHS Jane's Defense analyst.
In addition, the Dubai Airshow provides opportunities for industry experts to meet and interact with representatives from a wide range of sectors including commercial aviation, business aviation, military and defence aviation, plus a wide range of country pavilions from around the world, making the event truly unmissable.
Also returning in 2015 will be the co-located Gulf Aviation Training Event (GATE), addressing the increasingly pressing dilemma of a growing industry that does not currently have enough skilled pilots and other crew to support this growth.
Feedback from the 2013 event tipped Dubai Airshow as the global leader in the aerospace events arena, with it being referred to by many as number one on the list of must-attend and must-exhibit venues on the worldwide airshow circuit.
Organisers F&E Aerospace have revealed some aspects of its plans for the 2015 show. “We will be expanding the press centre facilities and are looking forward to the return of the show’s associated GATE conference; and to inspiring the next generation of aviators through our Futures Day feature,” said Michele van Akelijen, Managing Director, F&E Aerospace.
The Dubai Airshow is open to trade and professional visitors only. The floorplan will be released during the Farnborough Airshow 2014, enabling those who have not yet booked their exhibition spaces to choose from those remaining.
The Dubai Airshow is organised under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and in co-operation with Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports and the UAE Armed Forces.
