Dubai, UAE. 10 September 2012 – Organisers of the Dubai Airshow – F&E Aerospace wish ILA Berlin great success at their new venue at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The Dubai Airshow 13th edition takes place 17 to 21 November 2013 also at a new home - Dubai World Central (DWC), located in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The international aerospace show is continuing to grow – the last edition drew 960 exhibitors from 50 countries up by 8% on 2009 and 56,548 visitors which also saw an increase of 7%.
The new Dubai Airshow site is still in development and on schedule - all the foundations have been laid and they are currently inserting steel to the Exhibition Halls and Royal Hall. The Dubai Airshow regularly updates their twitter feed with images of progress and the website will shortly follow suit.
Alison Weller, Managing Director of the organisers, F&E Aerospace, said: “It is a very exciting time for us - the Dubai Airshow site is most certainly moving in the right direction. It’s a great challenge and opportunity to move to a new venue for 2013. It offers us the ability to grow, not only the physical buildings and sqm but also allowing us flexibility for the flying display times, much needed additional car parking and the ability to develop ideas for the Airshow such as conferences and pavilions.
The Dubai Airshow is organised under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and in co-operation with Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports and the UAE Armed Forces.
