Nouf Al Ameri serves as the Manager of Airspace Planning and Analysis at Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), within the Organizational Research & Development (OR&D) department. With over thirteen years of experience in the UAE’s aviation sector, she is recognized as one of the few Emirati women leading advanced analytical and developmental initiatives that enhance national airspace performance and operational excellence.
At DANS, Nouf plays a pivotal role in advancing aviation performance analytics for Dubai airspace and the Northern Emirates, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of operational data that supports strategic planning and decision-making. Her insights have been instrumental in improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability across the region’s air navigation network.
She has contributed to several major national and regional initiatives, including EXPO 2020, COP28, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where her analytical work supported regional coordination and airspace performance.
Before joining DANS, Nouf worked with the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), contributing to major projects in airspace design, flight procedure development, and data management, including the UAE Airspace Restructuring Project (ARP3) one of the nation’s landmark modernizations. She also gained operational experience at Abu Dhabi International Airport, where she developed a deep understanding of aeronautical data systems and air traffic operations.
