Frank Beilner studied at the University of Muenster in Germany and graduated with a business management degree in 1994. He began his professional career at the Unilever Group in Hamburg, where he held several posts in product management up to the end of 1999.

In January 2000, Frank Beilner joined Lufthansa Cargo in Frankfurt as Global Key Account Manager. He held a varying portfolio of accounts, among them some of Lufthansa Cargo’s largest global customers.

Frank Beilner was appointed as the first Director of Lufthansa Cargo’s Pharma Hub in October of 2006. In 2010 he moved on to become Regional Director Southeast Asia & Australia, based in Singapore.

Since January 2017, Frank Beilner has taken on the responsibility of Vice President Middle East & Africa, overseeing Lufthansa Cargo’s commercial and operational activities in 37 countries in the Region. In this role, he and his team also drive Lufthansa Cargo’s activities on sustainability in the Region. Among others, this includes the support of activities of Cargo Human Care, an aid project founded by Lufthansa Cargo employees. Cargo Human Care has been supporting people in Kenya during the last 13 years, giving them access to education and medical care. He also promotes Lufthansa Cargo’s new, innovative customer offer “Sustainable Choice”, which is the first standardized offer for CO2-neutral transports on shipment basis.
