With a passion for space, Lyn has spent nearly 20 years in the industry. She currently holds the position Sr. Vice President of Marketing at BlackSky. Within her remit she partners across the organization to create and optimize marketing and communications strategies and drives world class customer experience and go-to-market engagement.
Prior to joining BlackSky, Lyn spent 5 years at Maxar as Sr. Director, Global Marketing. Her portfolio spanned across corporate, global and product marketing, corporate positioning, market intelligence, market and customer listening, creative and experiential marketing. Lyn partnered with fellow leaders to foster thought leadership throughout the company to drive engagement with key influencers and industry leaders.
Lyn led Public Relations, reputation and brand management for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio and served as the lead ULA spokesperson for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program for a decade. Driven by her love of storytelling, prior to a career in space, Lyn explored broadcast journalism focusing on news and children’s programming.
Active in the Colorado aerospace community, Lyn serves on the Metro Denver EDC Board of Governors, and is a member of Colorado Space Coalition, Colorado Chamber of Commerce as well as national organizations like SSPI-Women in Space Engagement and Women in Aerospace.
Lyn holds a BA in communications from Seton Hall University with a focus in television and film production and a MBA in Entertainment, Media and Technology (EMT) from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
