Nagy Abu Zeid is a visionary executive, strategic planning and operations specialist with vast experience in aviation gained in working in Europe for Swissport and Zurich Airport and in the Middle East for Oman Airports. Nagy joined Oman Airports in 2014 as the Vice President Corporate Planning with the mandate to support Oman Airports to transform to a world leading and future ready airport operator.
In his role Nagy leads the development of Oman Airports’ Corporate Strategy, aligning with Oman’s Vision 2040 to deliver a safe, modern, environmentally friendly and customer-centric aviation sector. His key focus is to anticipate future business opportunities and effectively design and execute transformative growth strategies and investment plans to realize outstanding business results, award winning services and customer loyalty, aligned with the company’s vision and strategic goals.
Nagy actively contributed to the successful opening of Salalah Airport in 2015, Muscat and Duqm Airport in 2018. Muscat Airport was awarded the “Most Improved Airport in the Middle East in 2018 and 2018” by ACI and Salalah Airport became the first Regional Airport in the Middle East with a five-star Skytrax rating.
In addition to his current role at Oman Airports, Nagy also holds the Chairman position of the Airport Council International Asia Pacific Regional Economics Committee and is Member of the Airport Council World Economics Standing Committee.
