I’ m an aviation professional with over a decade of experience, starting as an aircraft mechanic, where I spent more than 8 years working in both base and line maintenance. My passion for aviation led me to transition into the CAMO part of the technical division, where I became an Airworthiness Duty Manager. In this role, I’ ve been responsible for overseeing certificate of airworthiness reviews, ARC renewals and managing the complex processes involved in aircraft deliveries, redeliveries, and fleet phase-outs. My focus has shifted towards digital transformation while undertaking a Master ’ s degree in financial technology and working on several projects aimed at automating manual processes within the engineering department. By evaluating and implementing new digital solutions, I’ m helping to optimise workflows and improve efficiency across the board. Being a part of a team that’ s constantly assessing the latest technologies in the market to see how they can be applied to make our operations smoother and more cost-effective. In addition to my technical and digital contributions, I’ ve actively participated in several conferences and panel discussions focused on empowering women in STEM fields. I’ m passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion within aviation and have spoken about the critical role women can play in shaping the future of AI in aviation. Through these engagements, I strive to inspire and support a better future for women in the industry.
