Nic’s journey in transforming the moving world began on the manufacturing floors of his family’s business in Italy, where, at an early age, he first witnessed the intricate dance of machinery and human ingenuity. These early experiences instilled a lifelong fascination with movement and transformation that would shape his career across continents and industries.

As Partner in Capital Formation at UP Partners, Nic understands institutional capital from the GP and LP perspectives. His experience working with sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, family offices, and corporate investors in Europe, the Middle East, and the US enables him to align UP’s vision with global investors.

This journey has taken him from the historic office of 3i to the sovereign wealth corridors of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he deployed over $3b across innovative companies and funds. His journey also spanned across entrepreneurship as a VC-backed founder and Venture Studio EIR. Nic has a Master of Science from Trento University and SKEMA Business School.
