Sahith Reddy is the founder of Bumi & Space, a bespoke deep-tech and investment advisory firm based in Paris and Abu-Dhabi. He brings a wealth of expertise to the deep-tech and space ecosystem, spanning Europe, the Middle East, and India. With experience as a research engineer, strategy consultant, and deep-tech investor, he has collaborated with globally renowned organizations, including the Creative Destruction Lab, Euroconsult, HEC Paris, BryceTech, SAASST – UAE Space Agency, Collins Aerospace, Masdar-MIT projects, and more. He was also privileged to be a part of the highly selective Abu Dhabi's Masdar Future Sustainability Leader program, contributing to climate change initiatives. As part of his scientific research, Sahith has published over 30 research papers with more than 200 Google Scholar citations. He is also a regular contributor to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) in Vienna – a high-level platform for space policy negotiations involving representation from over 100 countries.
In addition, Sahith acts as the UAE's National Point of Contact for the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) in support of the UN program on Space Applications. He is also an advisory board member for AzurX (space investments and business advisory), Spaceflux (UK SSA startup), Catalyx Space (US/India startup), and venture partner for GrayBella Capital (deep-tech VC). Sahith holds a B.Tech. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Amity University Dubai (UAE), a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO (France), and an Executive MSc in Management - Innovation & Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris (France).
Notably, the international awards Sahith has received for his work include: the "Pioneer Award" from the UN-SGAC (Austria), being elected as a “Fellow” of the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS) in London, inclusion in the “20 under 35” list of the Space and Satellite Professionals International (USA), the “Research Innovation Award” from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UAE), the “24 Under 24 Leaders and Innovators in STEAM and Space Award” by The Mars Generation - Aerojet Rocketdyne (USA), recognition as one of the "Payload Pioneers for 2023" under the Startup/VC category, and many more.
