Talal Al Hammadi serves as the Vice President of Air Traffic Development at Dubai Air Navigation Services (dans), where he leads four pivotal departments: Airspace Management, Operational Training & Standards, Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), and Organizational Research & Development. With a wealth of experience in aviation and airspace management, Talal has been at the forefront of transformative initiatives that have significantly shaped the UAE’s aviation landscape.

His leadership has been instrumental in executing high-profile projects such as the UAE Airspace Restructuring Project (ARP), the RECAT project, the establishment of the Airspace Management Cell (AMC), and the intricate airspace procedure design for major milestones like the launch of the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA), EXPO 2020, and COP28.

Prior to joining dans in 2015, Talal spent 11 years at the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as the Head of Airspace Coordination, where he played a key role in designing airspace routes and regulatory proposals. He also contributed internationally as a member of ICAO’s Instrument Flight Procedures Panel in Montreal, shaping critical aviation policies and flight procedures.

Talal's distinguished career is further underscored by numerous accolades, including a Certificate of Excellence for Federal Government Employees and a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the UAE Airspace Restructuring Project.

Beyond aviation, Talal’s diverse expertise includes an eight-year tenure as a police officer with the Sharjah Police, demonstrating his multidisciplinary experience in public service and security.
