Andrew Tyler-Smith is the Chief Executive Officer at Red Sea International Airport (RSI), the primary gateway to the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations.
A passionate and empathetic leader, Andrew is honoured to lead the RSI team, committed to providing the qualities of a five-star hospitality experience, a seamless and sustainable airport journey for all guests, serving the tourism in megaproject development in Red Sea. RSI will be 100% powered by renewable energy through the on-site solar facility.
Previously CEO of Caribbean for Manchester Airport Group (MAG), incorporating development of the Guest Experience Strategy and working alongside governments in the Caribbean on their 25-year business plans. Andrew developed the Business Plan for Grand Bahama International Airport to support the post Hurricane Dorian transformation of critical infrastructure, bringing tourism back to The Bahamas.
Prior to mobilising the Caribbean contracts, Andrew was Terminal Operations Director for MAG (responsible for Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted Airports), where he spent 6 years delivering across annual passengers of 60 million.
Prior to 2018, he was Operations Director for Airbus, Defence Business Services and Atomic Weapons Establishment.
Andrew is recognised as a strong, approachable leader and has a passion for developing high performing and empowered teams.
