Ghaya Alahbabi, a 13-year-old Emirati girl, is a multifaceted talent excelling in public speaking, arts, and photography. She has been an environmental activist and social media influencer for seven years, with a wide following and significant impact in raising environmental awareness. Ghaya was awarded the title of UNICEF Youth Advocate for COP28 and is known for her refined diplomatic style, which has distinguished her from a young age. She became the youngest speaker to represent the UAE in both local and international forums. Some of her most notable contributions include representing the children of UAE at the United Nations annual final report in Geneva, besides being the youngest speaker at the World Youth Festival in Russia, and a main speaker from UAE at the Climate Week Conference in Saudi Arabia, among other international events. Ghaya has received numerous global and local awards across various academic and environmental fields, most notably the Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Environmental Award and the Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance, underscoring her excellence and distinction in all areas.
