With over three decades of experience, His Excellency Ibrahim Ahli stands as one of the UAE’s most influential figures in air navigation and aviation leadership. As the CEO of Dubai Air Navigation Services (dans), he has transformed the organization from a government-managed function into a globally renowned, independent entity that navigates one of the busiest and most complex airspaces in the world. Ibrahim Ahli, is a key member of the UAE Air Traffic Management Sector, graduate of Dubai Aviation College in 1996, entered the field of air traffic control and is widely regarded/known for his significant contributions to the industry. Subsequently, he assumed/occupied the role of an ATC instructor and held managerial and directorial positions prior to being selected as the Chief Operating Officer of dans. Key to dans transformation into an independent ANS provider, he has also overseen the successful implementation of a number of innovative solutions to address critical ATM challenges. Ibrahim has served as the Deputy Chairman of the Flying Control Committee for the renowned Dubai Air Show for a significant period of time.
