Q: Have industry players been quick to adapt technology to cater to the changing needs in the aerospace market?
The aerospace industry has always been a frontier for innovation; many of today’s most transformative technologies were first pioneered in this space, no pun intended. But to maintain that legacy, the industry must continue to embrace emerging technologies with the same boldness, especially from agile SMEs like Skyral. While there is a strong appetite for cutting-edge solutions, true progress comes not just from procuring the latest tech, but from embedding and truly adopting it, and that means adapting operations, mindset, and putting adoption strategies around it. The most forward-thinking players are those creating space for innovation to thrive, encouraging adoption at every level, and partnering with the new generation of tech providers.
Q: In which areas and geographies do you see strongest potential for growth?
Skyral sees immense potential in the Middle East, particularly in the training, aerospace and infrastructure sectors. The region’s bold vision, appetite for innovation, and commitment to becoming a global aviation and innovation hub align perfectly with our capabilities. From the rapid expansion of airports to the ambition of national carriers and centralized, multi domain training capabilities, there’s a clear demand for future-focused technologies that can optimize planning, readiness, and performance. We’re inspired by how governments and industry leaders here are not just adopting advanced technologies, they’re shaping the future with them. It’s an ideal environment for Skyral’s defense-proven digital twin and simulation capabilities to deliver real, lasting impact.
Q: What technologies do you predict will impact the aerospace industry most in the next five years?
I think the aerospace industry is quickly realizing that insights based on data and data visualization is no longer enough to stay ahead of the curve. Rather, the aerospace industry will see the most impact by harnessing advanced digital twin technologies powered by AI-enabled modeling and simulation platforms. These will enable predictive maintenance, intelligent scheduling, advanced training and rapid scenario planning, thereby reducing downtime and increasing operational resilience. These technologies will revolutionize how we design, build, and operate airports and fleets. Technologies originally proven in defense, like those Skyral delivers, are now unlocking game-changing agility and efficiency for civil aviation, bridging the gap between planning and operations in a way that’s never been possible before.
Q: What are your expectations from Dubai Airshow 2025 and what can the attendees expect to see from your company at the Airshow? Are you launching any new products/services etc.? What are your plans for the 2025 Dubai Airshow?
We’re delighted to make Skyral’s debut at the Dubai Airshow. This is one of the first major events in the region where we will have a large presence and we’re looking forward to building new relationships across the aerospace industry, as well as reconnecting with our current Emirati customers. Personally, I’m also looking forward to delivering a keynote speech in the Airlines & Airports track titled: Future-Proofing Aviation: How Defense-Grade Digital Twins and Modeling & Simulation Tech Will Revolutionize Civil Airport and Airline Operations. I think the session will showcase to attendees how modelling and simulation can truly be a gamechanger for the future of the aviation industry.
Q: Lastly, what are your company plans ahead in the region?
Having recently signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Emirates Training Technologies, and we’re incredibly excited to expand our presence in the region along side our in country partner. We’ve seen firsthand the demand for digital twin solutions and UAE’s focus on adopting the best technologies and companies. There couldn’t be a better time for Skyral to enter the UAE and we know our solution will bring powerful insights, better training and improved outcomes across Defence, Government and Commercial enterprises in the years to come, with some exciting announcements already anticipated in the coming months, so watch this space for more details forthcoming!
