Abdulla Saif Al Awani serves as the Chief Economic Program Officer at Tawazun Council.

 

He led the development of the updated guidelines of the Tawazun Economic Program announced in 2019.

 

With over 20 years of experience Abdulla in his current role is responsible for managing and developing the defense and security industry partnerships allowing him to lead and execute complex projects for the benefit of the UAE’s sovereignty, prosperity and wider economic impact through the Program.

 

Prior to joining Tawazun Council, Abdulla worked with the ZonesCorp Abu Dhabi as Director of Real Estate. He also served as Manager of Strategy and Research at the Western Region Development Council. Previously Abdulla worked with ADNOC as a Project Engineer. In addition to holding a Master’s in Quality Management from Wollongong University – UAE, Abdulla holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from Ajman University of Science and Technology - UAE.
