With over 20 years of experience spanning Aviation and Nuclear Operations Safety Management, I am a seasoned professional leading Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) initiatives in the United Arab Emirates. As Assistant Manager – Emerging Technologies at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), I spearhead the strategic execution and safe implementation of AAM solutions, positioning the UAE as a global leader in next-generation aviation.

As a member of the GCAA Advanced Air Mobility Committee, I drive the development of comprehensive regulatory frameworks and safety protocols for the emerging AAM ecosystem. My role encompasses holistically managing AAM projects, negotiating critical agreements and MOUs while representing the UAE on national and international platforms. Additionally, facilitate the coordination between Aircraft OEMs, UAE Ministries and governing bodies to develop federal legislation governing interstate passenger travel and cargo via advanced air mobility solutions.

My expertise uniquely positions me at the intersection of traditional aviation safety and cutting-edge AAM technologies. I specialize in Aviation Maintenance, Occurrence Reporting and Investigations, Hazard Taxonomies, and Safety Management Systems across both aviation and nuclear energy sectors. Extensive knowledge of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and experience in developing Unmanned Traffic Management Systems (UTM) for drone registration and authorization provides a comprehensive foundation for managing the complex safety and operational challenges of AAM deployment.
