Andreas Heitmann leads SpaceFounders, Europe’s leading accelerator for space-tech and dual-use startups. Backed by the German Armed Forces University, CNES, and ASI, the program connects high-potential ventures with public institutions, industry primes, and top-tier investors across the continent.
Since 2021, Andreas has supported over 70 startups from 20+ countries, helping them raise more than €220 million and gain traction with strategic buyers in the space, defense, and mobility sectors. With a background in innovation management and finance, he is passionate about bridging the gap between agile startups and complex ecosystems — and about advancing Europe’s position in the global race for sovereign, scalable technologies.
