Daniel Weber

Daniel Weber leads Lufthansa Group’s venture clienting unit “Startup Gate,” where he  connects startups with strategic challenges across the Group’s global business. His work focuses on translating external innovation into measurable impact by enabling Lufthansa to rapidly identify, test, and adopt startup technologies. He previously held leadership roles in airline operations and worked in the executive office of Lufthansa Group’s Chief Technology Officer, contributing to Group-wide innovation and transformation topics. In parallel to his corporate role, he is also an active long-haul pilot on the Airbus A330/A340 fleet. Daniel brings a unique combination of operational aviation experience and innovation expertise. He holds an Executive MBA from Maastricht University, with a focus on digital strategy, innovation management, and leading transformation in technology-driven environments.
