Florent Illat, is an engineer and a graduate of École Centrale de Paris.
He began his career in corporate banking at Société Générale, where he gained experience in financial analysis and investment operations. In 2006, he joined McKinsey & Company’s Paris office, contributing to strategic consulting engagements for major corporations and investment funds, with a focus on growth strategy and performance improvement.
In 2013, Florent Illat was appointed Senior Vice President at Quadrille Capital, a private investment firm specializing in the technology, healthcare, and energy sectors. In this role, he led and executed numerous investments in innovative startups and venture funds across Europe and the United States.
As of June 3rd, 2019, Florent Illat serves as Chief Executive Officer of Safran Corporate Ventures, the venture capital arm of the Safran Group. He succeeds Grégoire Aladjidi, who was appointed Senior Vice President, Group Strategy and M&A, in November 2018.
