As Vice President of Baggage Service Delivery at Dubai Airports, John Dyett leads one of the most complex and high-performing functions at Dubai International’s (DXB), ensuring the seamless movement of millions of bags each month through one of the world’s most advanced systems.
Under his leadership, DXB’s Baggage Service Delivery team has achieved industry-leading performance with just two mishandled bags per 1,000 passengers – significantly outperforming the global average of 6.3 per 1,000 as reported by SITA, multinational information technology company providing IT and telecommunication services to the air transport industry.
Before joining Dubai Airports, John held senior operational leadership roles at British Airways and London Heathrow Airport, where he led large-scale transformation programmes, introduced innovative customer service solutions, and enhanced turnaround and performance standards across key operational areas.
Known for his collaborative leadership and hands-on approach, John continues to drive operational excellence and deliver world-class service reliability at the heart of the world’s busiest international hub.
