Peta Wolmarans, Director – Planning, Vancouver Airport Authority Peta leads the team responsible for long-range infrastructure planning at YVR. She is currently working with the Airport’s Energy Advisory Council – consisting of external experts in renewable energy generation, energy storage, and financing – on the development of a long- term Energy Strategy for the Airport. This Strategy will provide a pathway for YVR to secure low carbon, safe, abundant and resilient energy supply to meet industry net zero goals. Peta is also leading a study with Airbus and ZeroAvia on the feasibility of creating a Hydrogen Hub at YVR, along with other Canadian airports.
