Robert Boyd

Robert Boyd is Chief of the ICAO Finvest Hub, a global initiative accelerating the commercialisation of sustainable aviation fuels with a focus on developing states. Prior to ICAO, he led Global Sustainability for Boeing in Asia-Pacific, was a Fellow at the World Economic Forum, and has contributed to ICAO’s Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) since 2014.  Robert spent nearly a decade at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), ultimately as Head of Energy Transition and Policy.  He also served four years on the Board of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials, including as Treasurer.  Holding a Master’s in Economics from the University of Queensland, he began his aviation career as Chief Economist at Virgin Australia after a decade in finance.
