Syed (Khurram) currently holds the position of Strategy & Market Specialist  with Saudi Aramco, where his work heavily focuses on sustainability and 

carbon transparency initiatives. Syed’s career spans over two decades within the global energy sector, encompassing key roles in strategy formulation, sustainability, market analysis and project development; initially with Shell, Qatar Energy and now Aramco, during which he has consistently fostered business growth and operational excellence.

An engineer by trait with a post-graduation in Operations Research from University of Waterloo, his strong drive to continuously improve has been the center of his career. Syed has successfully led multiple value chain optimization initiatives, navigated complex markets to enhance profitability across diverse asset classes. In his spare time, Syed likes to cook, listen to music and engage in sports.
