Director of Strategy at Dubai Airports, Sven Deckers is responsible for Corporate and Sustainability Strategy, and Business Intelligence. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in the aviation industry, having held several positions in different parts of the aviation ecosystem, such as airlines (Lufthansa, Saudia, Etihad), alliance management companies (Star Alliance) and airports. Born in Belgium, through his multinational career, he has lived in several countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He is the holder of an Executive MBA degree from INSEAD, a Master in Aviation from the National Aviation School/Toulouse Business School, and a Master in Economics from LUC Hasselt.
